Training Runs for the 12th Annual Sedona Marathon Event Running the races of the Sedona Marathon Event can be both fun and challenging. The course can take your breath away not only because it is beautiful, but it is at 4,500 feet elevation! Success can depend on whether you have been training to both acclimatize and to know the course and plan your run.
Join us for the Training Runs scheduled to help you tune up before the Race. Hosted and led by the Sedona Running Company’s Adam Gifford, we will gather on January 7, 14 and 21 at the Sedona Medical Center at 3700 West State Route 89A; Sedona, AZ 86336 at 9:00 a.m. Parking is available on Navoti Drive and in the Sedona Medical Center Alternative parking lot.
There is no need to register as it is an open run. You can arrive and start on time, early or late, although running together is great fun for the comradely and pacing. There will be an aide station with snacks and hydration at the 10K turnaround point. If you want to go further or even the full distance, go right ahead. The whole idea is to challenge yourself and prepare so you can make your personal best on time and avoid injury.
If you have any questions, contact Coach Adam Gifford at firstname.lastname@example.org or 928-282-6956. Thanks to the Sedona Running Company for making these training runs possible!
