RACE RESULTS
All races start at 8am Mountain Standard Time with the full
marathon race starting first, followed by the half marathon
race and finally the 5k race and will be separated by
several minutes.
THE HALF MARATHON RACE starts on the western side
of the Red Rock High School track at the midpoint of the bleachers by a
raised section of curb. Once on pavement the course The course travels
north and up a slight incline to a dirt road that goes east to the
parking lot. Here the route follows the north and western side of the
roads and will be coned to use half the lane. A left turn is made onto
Upper Red Rock Loop Road, continues through the intersection with Hwy
89A onto Cultural Park Place. Right turn onto Navoti Drive, through the
intersection with Bristlecone Pines Road. Navoti Drive ends and a right
turn is made. Turn left at Hwy 89A next to the sidewalk on the north
side of the westbound lanes. Left turn onto Dry Creek Road on the west
side of the street. Continue on Dry Creek Road to the "T" intersection.
Take a left onto Boynton Canyon Road. At the next "T" take a left onto a
new paved road Called Boynton Pass Road or Forest Service 152C. Pass Fay
Canyon Trailhead to a pass between Doe Mesa on the left and Bear
Mountain on the right. Just 0.3 West of Bear Mountain Trailhead is the
turn around for the course; returning the same path. The Finish is just
over the hill west of Sedona Medical Center and just east of Bristlecone
Pines Road.
