New Food Choices to Buy at the Sedona Marathon Feb. 9, 2008 at Red Rock High School
Food choices for this year's marathon will include a variety of salads, snacks, bars, fruit & treats; all items featured will be raw, vegan, and organic. Experience the vibrant nutrition available in “Superfoods” and discover the energizing, replenishing, and rejuvenating benefits of living foods for optimum health. The Sedona Marathon Welcomes Wharton Performance
The Sedona Marathon is pleased to announce that the renowned Wharton Performance has come on as sponsors of the event. Father and son team, Jim and Phil Wharton, are the authors of the Wharton Health Books, have regular columns in Runner’s World and USA Today and have personally trained over 500 Olympic medalists. Additionally, they will be giving a free training clinic and talk to kick off the 3rd Annual Sedona Marathon on Thursday February 7th at 6pm at the Goldenstein Gallery in uptown Sedona. Also attending will be elite athletes from the Mile High Training Center in Flagstaff, AZ many who are slated to compete in Beijing in the summer Olympics.

September 2006 - Sedona Marathon says “Get off the Couch”
For the 2007 season the Sedona Marathon has created a program designed to get all of Sedona moving.   Based on their success with last year’s Biggest Loser Challenge, the new training program called Get off the Couch begins Monday October 2nd.  

July 2006 - Brins Wildfire avoids the City of Sedona and the Sedona Marathon Course!
The Brins wildfire scared many Sedona residents and Oak Creek Canyon but luck was on the firefighter's side as the fire was burned north and east of the City of Sedona and the Sedona Marathon Course.  Check out the Vicinity Map.
